Resolutions

listen

It's customary as the year comes to a close and a new year, full of hope and promise, presents itself that people pause to analyse the last 12 months of their lives and resolve to take steps to do a better job in the coming year. The most frequent resolutions tend to be health related; quit smoking, lose weight, get more exercise. Our relations with family and friends come next; spend more time with the family, be a better person. Other common goals are; get organized, get out of debt, watch less TV, take up a new hobby, get more education, learn a foreign language, get a new job. Unfortunately by the end of January most people will have broken their resolutions. The best way to avoid this is by setting reasonable goals; goals that you can realistically attain and planning step by step how you will achieve these aspirations.
