Digital cameras have revolutionized the photo industry. People no longer have to pay for the film, processing or prints. Nor do they have to wait until they use up a roll of film and go through this process before they can see their pictures. The convenience of being able to shoot an almost unlimited number of pictures in a single session and then preview them directly from the camera all but guarantee that you get fantastic photographs. In addition, using an editing program to crop them and adjust things like the brightness and contrast greatly enhances your pictures. Nevertheless, the truth is that people are taking more and more bad pictures which only goes to show that getting fantastic pictures has nothing to do with the camera. The solution is to go back and put into practice the basic tips and advice that photographers have been giving us for years.
