Direction is almost never "dirección". If you want to tell someone where you live you have to give them your “address.” If you need to explain to someone how to get to your house then you have to give them “directions”. If you want to make decisions in your company then you should get a position in “management”. However, if you are the boss, then you have people working under your “direction”. If you have difficulty controlling your car at high speeds you should check the “steering”. To operate a device for the first time it is advisable to follow the “directions” in the manual.
