I've just read the 6th Harry Potter book. It's the first book about him I've ever read and it's strange enought how I got it.
Would you take a 15-minute-midnight drive to a town near by just to buy a book? We did it. We set off on the spur of the moment at about 1 o'clock. There weren't many cars in the car park by the supermarket and a group of teenagers was discussing something not far from the entrance. Nothing more: no one was dressed in a cloak and sharp pointed hat, no one was queueing to buy a long-awaited book. I think we were the only customers in the shop. Everything was quiet: a shop assistant was putting new books on display, some others were filling empty shelves with different stuff, a few cashiers were bored at their tills. Unwilling to show the only aim of our trip there, we bought some juice and yoghurt.
At home after a cup of tea , I started reading the book and finished it well after dawn, just a bit before 6 o'clock. Having turned the last page I had mixed emotions. This book is definitely better than the previous one, but, although this book is supposed to answer lots of questions, the ending has posed some difficult ones. Which side is Snape on? Did Dumbledore make his fatal mistake trusting Snape? Did the old fox lose his flair?

Corrections and suggestions: It's the first book about him I've ever read and it's strange enough (very strange) how I got it. After having turned the last page I had mixed emotions.
I was very surprised at the ending. Although it seemed obvious to my friends, I didn't think that Dumbledore would die. In retrospect, I guess it had to happen. I have been uncertain about Snape from the very beginning, switching him from the good to the bad side (and vice versa) several times throughout the course of the books. However, I still think that he's good, even though he killed Dumbledore. He was bound to help Malfoy, so he had no other choice.

Oh no, Michelle, you gave the end away!!!! Just kidding.
I haven't read any of the books or seen the movie (movies?). And honestly I don't understand all the fuss about these books. Maybe I'll read them when the story will be over. Or maybe not.

Thanks for the compliment. :blushing: I'll try, but I don't promise anything.

Harry Potter, this series of books is very popular today, and everytime its new one can catch so many eyes. Although I've never read the books, the movie, Harry Potter III, makes me really like it, and become a funs.
Now I can't wait reading the book, and discussing with you guys.

The Spanish version hasn't come out yet -printed-, and I am a eager to read it.
Please, please, p l e a s e, I beg you, don't spoil it by saying things like:
that character happens to...
at the end...
I like this one because Hermionne kisses...
I still remember myself wishing to beat a friend by a comment he made when I was reading a thriller about spies, and he told me who happened to be a double agent; that data appeared not in the last page, but in the one before!
