Se usa para el sujeto de un verbo: 

I live in Madrid. We have a nice flat. 

Steve lives in Alabama. He is married. 

His wife's name is Susan. She is a teacher.

They live in a big house. It is in the country.

Pronombre Objeto

Se usa como objeto o detrás de una preposicion:

John lives with me. The dog lives with us. Sometimes the dog sleeps with him. My wife's name is Mary. I met her at school. Are you thirsty? I can give you something to drink. I don't have you book. I gave it to Randy.

Se usa para indicar posesión:

Se usa para indicar posesión:

This pen isn't mine. It's yours.
I don't like her jacket. I prefer his.

My parents are always working but yours are always on holiday.
Your classroom is big but ours has three windows.
These exams aren't ours. They're theirs.
