The administration has spoken out in defense of the most controversial measures to be taken in their latest program to control the problems of traveling in the center of the city. As you already know, their intention is to encourage the use of public transportation.

Here's what they plan to do:

1.    Extra streetcars will operate during the rush hour and the subway will run additional trains.

2.    Truck drivers that want to use the beltway and traffic circles must obtain the appropriate driver's license and be certain to attach the blue colored sticker to either the windshield or license plate of their vehicles.

3.    The number of truck stops, gas stations and parking lots will be reduced.
