More about MyProfe

Some years ago, I realized that I had accumulated a lot of teaching material and decided to create a web page to share this information with a wider audience. The site was originally divided into three levels, each of which contained grammar explanations and a variety of exercises. There was a section on false friends, another on common mistakes and even a section where you could listen and do dictations. More sections were added over the years, the last one dedicated to job interviews. All in all, I was quite satisfied with my efforts, totally unaware that my page had a serious flaw. It was not searchable. Time and again I would want to use an exercise that I knew I had written and discovered that it was difficult to find. For that reason I now have a wiki, originally described as "the simplest online database that could possibly work".
