A "row" is a line, a file.
- This morning I got tickets to the concert. We're all sitting together in section D row 16.
"In a row" means all in the same row or one after another in succession.
- The weather was bad so we went to the cinema and watched three films in a row.
A "row" is a scolding, reprimand, argument, dispute.
