Teach

The verbs "teach" and "show" can be translated as enseñar but the words are not the same. They are Similar but Different. To "teach" is to educate, to give instructions so that something is learned. To show is simply to demonstrate or display so that something can be seen. The only time the two words have the same meaning is when "show" is followed by the word how.

He learned to ride a bike by himself. Nobody taught him. Nobody showed him how to do it.
